Ridgway Ironstone Plates (3)

Only 1 available!

Ridgway Ironstone dinner plates are lovely and heavy and make a statement with this blue and cream pattern. I haven’t been able to discover the name of the pattern or the year it was produced by Ridgway however, this same pattern was also produced by Syracuse China in 1937 under the name Birds of Paradise. The birds appear to be pheasants and the reverse of the plates is clearly marked Ridgway. Made in England, these are ‘vitrified’ plates which means hardened ceramic. These are in good condition for their age and you’ll see random marks and yellowing in some areas however, there are no cracks or chips.
